Psychotherapeutic Reiki
Psychotherapeutic Reiki is a technique that blends Eastern energy concepts and Western psychological perspectives. The use of Reiki in this approach is not meant to be a substitute for counselling, but rather an adjunct to it. This technique incorporates Reiki energy healing, acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive psychotherapy and mindfulness strategies and practices.
Psychotherapeutic Reiki provides additional support to a person when dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, emotional problems, feelings of uncertainty or confusion, grief, relationship troubles, or physical pain.
Information about your history, personal stories and medical history is captured. Together we will discuss your therapeutic goals and expectations. A treatment plan will be developed outlining the different tools and practices that we will work with to ensure you are comfortable with the approach, the approximate number of sessions and the pathway forward.
